Michael Smith comes from Galena, a small town in northwest Illinois. He has been involved with film after he first saw “Star Wars” at the age of five and since then, his imagination soared. Inspired by Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams, he decided to start up his own production company called Tier 5 Productions where they produce high quality entertainment enjoyable for everyone. He believes that film is the highest form of entertainment, and he wants to take you on an adventure of a lifetime.



Michael is a graduate of Tribeca Flashpoint College in Chicago focusing in Directing. He also has a passion for Cinematography, Screenwriting, Producing, and Editing. He is also very skilled with set management, which he learned from his many years involved with theater production.
